Responsibilities

  • Analysis of financial statements / ensuring data accuracy
  • Month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Cost/revenue control and booking of provisions
  • Posting and recording accounting documents
  • Issuing invoices
  • Confirming and reconciling balances with external counterparties
  • Active participation in the preparation of financial statements
  • Maintaining/improving reporting and forecasting tools to increase efficiency
  • Supporting the accounting team / project tasks
  • Assistance during audits
  • VAT and Intrastat declarations

Our Requirements

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience in accounting, particularly in the area of general ledger accounting
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
  • Practical knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and financial compliance requirements
  • Ability to maintain documentation and archive financial records
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure
  • Experience in preparing tax returns and financial statements
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken
